President
Brian D. Hanson is President and owner of Maine Business Brokers. He has 17 years of entrepreneurial experience and purchased the company in 2010. Brian joined Maine Business Brokers after opening and operating numerous businesses in Maine and New Hampshire as well as in Novosibirsk, Russia. Some of his businesses include restaurants, nightclubs, wholesale seafood, web businesses and sporting goods stores. Brian’s businesses have been featured in local print, TV and radio as well as Time Magazine and Good Morning America.
Brian was born and raised in northern Maine, which combined with his broad range of business experiences gives him a unique understanding of Maine’s small business owners and buyers. Brian graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maine’s School of Business and is currently working on his M.B.A in Finance from the University of Southern Maine.
