Glen J. Cooper, CBI, CBA, BVAL, is a senior advisor and consultant to Maine Business Brokers, which he and his wife co-founded in 1981. Glen writes and speaks frequently on small business topics.
Glen is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) and a Business Valuator Accredited for Litigation (BVAL), designations of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), and a licensed real estate broker in both Maine and New Hampshire. In 2008, Glen was named a "Fellow of the IBBA," an honor for service to this professional association.
In addition to business brokerage and business appraisal, Glen has an extensive background in commercial and investment real estate and was southern Maine's First Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Realtors' National Marketing Institute of the National Association of Realtors from 1985 to 1992. He sold his first business in 1979.
